Settlement Status

A federal judge granted final approval of the settlement on November 17, 2015. The appeals have been resolved.  Under the settlement, Target paid $10 million to cover consumer class claims. The settlement class is defined as: “All persons in the United States whose credit or debit card information and/or whose personal information was compromised as a result of the data breach that was first disclosed by Target on December 19, 2013.”
