Keller Rohrback Announces Audi Settlement

National class action firm Keller Rohrback is pleased to announce a settlement that resolves the claims of more than 100,000 consumers who purchased or leased certain gasoline Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche, and Bentley vehicles that were initially labeled and marketed with overstated fuel economy (and understated carbon dioxide emissions).

The Court preliminarily approved the settlement on October 4, 2019, and the hearing for the final approval is set for February 28, 2020. The claims period began on October 4, 2019, and assuming that final approval is granted on February 28, class members have until March 29, 2020 to file a complaint.

If the settlementĀ receives final approval, payments to Class Members will total approximately $96.5 million, with each eligible vehicle owner, former owner, or lessee receiving up to $2,332.80. Any unpaid portion of the $96.5 million will be distributed to environmental remediation efforts.

More information can be foundĀ here. This post will be updated with information regarding the Settlement website once it has been established.
