Sam is committed to using his legal skills to make a positive impact on people's lives.

He brings this dedication to Keller Rohrback's nationally acclaimed Complex Litigation Group, where he leverages his diverse background, which includes government service and time as a deputy attorney general, to approach complex legal issues with a distinctive perspective.

Sam is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School and Brown University. As a law student, Sam worked in Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s Office of Legal Counsel and represented tenants facing eviction in Michigan’s Criminal-Civil Litigation Clinic. After law school, Sam returned to New Jersey to work as an Honors Attorney in the New Jersey Attorney General's Office. There, in the Office of Public Integrity & Accountability, he prosecuted public corruption cases, reviewed police use-of-force incidents and investigated claims of innocence from incarcerated people. Later, in the AG’s Special Litigation group, he defended the state's firearm regulations against Second Amendment challenges, fought to preserve the DACA immigration program, and worked on matters regarding LGBTQ+ and reproductive rights. Sam's work in the AG's office was recognized with multiple awards for excellence. After leaving the Attorney General’s office, Sam relocated to the Pacific Northwest to clerk for Chief Judge David Estudillo of the Western District of Washington.

Outside of work, Sam enjoys running, biking, kayaking, singing, and exploring the Pacific Northwest with his partner Ben and their rescue dog Ladybug.
