Keller Rohrback is investigating the recent Flagstar Bank data breach that resulted in the theft of over 1.5 million customers’ names, personal identification, and Social Security numbers. This is the second breach to impact this bank in less than two years. Is your personal data at risk? We want to hear from you.
The most recent breach ensued between December 3 and December 4, 2022, and impacted 1,547,169 customers, according to the evidence Flagstar Bank provided to the Office of the Maine Attorney General. However, the bank didn’t inform its customers that critical pieces of their personal information was stolen until June 17, 2022, putting them at risk of identity theft and more.
If you received this letter from Flagstar Bank, or are a concerned customer, please contact our data privacy attorneys at (800) 776-6044, [email protected], or by using the secure form on this page to learn more about your legal rights.
