Keller Rohrback is pleased to announce that its litigation team led by partners Gretchen Freeman Cappio and Ryan McDevitt has been appointed to the Plaintiffs’ Executive Committee in the In re Ford Super Duty Roof-Crush Litigation (No. 4:22-cv-12079).
The order was signed by the Honorable Brandy R. McMillion of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan on September 26, 2024, and creates a Leadership Structure with Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro LLP and The Miller Law Firm serving as Interim Co-Lead Class Counsel. KR is joined on the supporting Plaintiffs’ Executive Committee (“PEC”) by Fegan Scott LLC, and Kessler Topaz Meltzer & Check, LLP. The case is a consolidation of over 30 separate actions by alleged victims asserting that Ford Motor Company violated consumer protection laws in its failure to disclose the risk associated with the roofs of its Super Duty trucks in rollover accidents. The Court noted that “Having considered the joint motion to appoint Interim Lead Counsel and an Executive Committee, the Court is persuaded that the proposed Leadership Structure would adequately and efficiently represent the interests of the putative class.”
We congratulate the team for this important appointment!
