Consumers have reported that the transmissions in their Nissan Rogues and Pathfinders can cause their vehicles to jerk and shudder while driving, and in some instances to stop working completely. If you own or lease a 2014-2016 Nissan Rogue or a 2015-2016 Pathfinder and are concerned that these problems could be putting you in danger, please contact Keller Rohrback’s automotive litigation team at (800) 776-6044, [email protected], or by using the contact form on this page.
2014-2016 Nissan Rogues and 2015-2016 Pathfinders are equipped with continuously variable transmissions (CVT), which use a segmented steel belt between pulleys instead of conventional gears. Despite having allegedly known since 2013 that the Rogue and Pathfinder CVTs were defective and putting drivers and passengers at risk, Nissan continued to build the Rogues and Pathfinders with this type of transmission for several more years. According to owners, the 2014-2016 Nissan Rogues and 2015-2016 Pathfinders hesitate when drivers attempt to accelerate, suffer from excessive revving, jerk at highway speeds, and sometimes even stop working altogether.
Keller Rohrback understands that cars are not only a big investment, but also pose serious safety concerns. If you own or lease a 2014-2016 Nissan Rogue or a 2015-2016 Pathfinder, we want to hear from you. Please contact us at (800) 776-6044, [email protected], or by using the contact form on this page.
