Oregon New Lawyers Division Member Services Award given to KR's Sarah Osborn
Keller Rohrback is pleased to announce that Portland Associate Sarah Osborn has earned the Oregon New Lawyers Division's (ONLD) 2023 Member Services Award. Each year, the ONLD honors one of its members for contributions to the Division membership and mission, which is expressed as assisting new lawyers with the transition to practicing law in Oregon and helping them align with the mission, functions, and values of the Oregon State Bar.
ONLD is an independent division of the Oregon State Bar, and includes every Oregon attorney who has practiced six years or less or is 36-years-old or younger, whichever is later. It was created in recognition of the special interests of new lawyers that are often different from those of more experienced attorneys. According to ONLD, new lawyers are more likely to be concerned with issues of professional advancement, balancing family and career, and substantive legal education. With these awards, ONLD recognizes fellow attorneys who are doing outstanding work across the state.
For Sarah, this recognition continues her strong professional interest in collaborating with the Oregon legal community. She serves on the Executive Committee for ONLD, complementing her work with the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association, and with the LGBT Bar Association (OGALLA). Her blend of cooperation with fellow law professionals and her “strong moral compass for social justice,” expressed in exemplary hours dedicated to pro bono work, are defining Sarah Osborn's early career.
Keller Rohrback is proud to see Sarah saluted by this organization of her legal peers!
