Case Status
On January 15, 2021, Keller Rohrback, along with co-counsel, filed a Consolidated Complaint against Porsche Cars America and its parent company and subsidiaries relating to alleged manipulation of test results for Porsche vehicles sold in the United States. Plaintiffs allege a scheme to alter hardware, install software designed to cheat during emissions testing, and manipulate driving modes in certain vehicles that caused the vehicles to exceed legal limits of certain pollutants in real-world driving.
Reporting from Germany, backed up by extensive investigation and testing on behalf of Plaintiffs, shows that as with their diesel vehicles, Defendants have for years developed and implemented a secret plan to cheat on emissions tests in certain gasoline vehicles. Upon information and belief, this plan goes back over a decade and was known to the upper echelons of Porsche management for many years.
