Porsche paid a $598 million fine for emissions cheating just last year. Contact us to help hold them accountable.
Is Volkswagen Group at it again? Germany’s Transport Authority is investigating Porsche over suspicions that the gas engines for all 2007 – 2017 Porsche vehicles, (including Panameras, 911s, Macans as well as others) may have been manipulated for emissions testing purposes. If you own or lease a 2007 – 2017 Porsche with a gas engine, please contact us at (800) 776-6044 or [email protected].
According to the German Transport Authority, Porsche discovered irregularities in gas powered vehicles stemming from unauthorized “changes to hardware and software that could affect exhaust systems and engine components.” In 2019, Porsche was fined nearly $600 million for using dirty diesel engines sourced from its parent company, Volkswagen, which has had its own sordid history of emissions cheating.
Keller Rohrback is investigating whether Porsche manipulated the hardware and software in 2007 -2017 Porsches with gas engines in order to pass emissions tests. If you own or lease one of these vehicles, please contact our automotive litigation team at (800) 776-6044 or [email protected].
Keller Rohrback filed against Porsche Cars North American and its German parent company on October 26, 2020 in the Northern District of California. You can find case documents and more information about the case here. We continue to welcome new clients for this matter.
