Did Providence Hospital make you pay when you were entitled to financial assistance?

The Washington Charity Care Law requires hospitals to make financial assistance available for low-income patients to help with their out-of-pocket medical costs. Unfortunately, Providence, one of the largest nonprofit health systems in the country, does not make it clear to patients that they may be entitled to this assistance, and takes steps to collect payment before notifying them that they are entitled to such free care.

Have you been misled about the effectiveness of your nasal decongestant?

A recent FDA panel stated that multiple studies have shown that phenylephrine, which is a common ingredient in many of the most popular over-the-counter oral cold medicines such as types of Sudafed, Mucinex and Robitussin, among others,  is no better than a placebo in its ability to act as a decongestant.

Maui Fire Assistance

Did the Maui wildfires destroy your world? The physical destruction of homes, businesses, and personal belongings has been devastating, but the emotional and financial toll imposed by the fire is immeasurable. Although we at Keller Rohrback cannot give you back what you have lost, we can help you hold accountable those who were responsible for this tragedy.

Has your municipality been misled into paying more for insulin?

Keller Rohrback was among the first firms in the Country to sue pharmacy benefit managers for conspiring with insulin manufacturers to drive up the cost of insulin for American consumers.  These abusive practices continue today, and they increase the costs that cities and counties pay for insulin.
