Seeking Justice for Survivors of Uber Ride-Share Sexual Assault
Ride-share company Uber has faced criticism for its handling of sexual assault cases and for not doing enough to protect passengers and its drivers. Uber’s own 2019-2020 US Safety Report, describes 998 reported incidents of sexual assault including 141 instances of rape in 2020 alone.
Did Providence Hospital make you pay when you were entitled to financial assistance?
The Washington Charity Care Law requires hospitals to make financial assistance available for low-income patients to help with their out-of-pocket medical costs. Unfortunately, Providence, one of the largest nonprofit health systems in the country, does not make it clear to patients that they may be entitled to this assistance, and takes steps to collect payment before notifying them that they are entitled to such free care.
Have you been misled about the effectiveness of your nasal decongestant?
A recent FDA panel stated that multiple studies have shown that phenylephrine, which is a common ingredient in many of the most popular over-the-counter oral cold medicines such as types of Sudafed, Mucinex and Robitussin, among others, is no better than a placebo in its ability to act as a decongestant.

Final approval granted in ZF-TRW airbag liability litigation with Toyota Defendants
Keller Rohrback is pleased to share the news that Judge Kronstadt in the District Court of the Central District of California has granted Final Approval of a settlement between the Toyota Defendants and consumer Plaintiffs in In Re: ZF-TRW Airbag Control Units Products Liability Litigation. This Toyota-specific settlement does not resolve claims against other automobile manufacturers.
