Keller Rohrback Wins Law360 Practice Groups of the Year for Benefits and Product Liability

We are thrilled to announce that Law360, the preeminent publication for legal news and analysis, has selected Keller Rohrback L.L.P. as one of their 2021 “Practice Groups of the Year” award winners in both the Benefits and Product Liability categories. The awards honor “the attorney teams behind litigation wins and major deals that resonated throughout the legal industry this past year.”

This is the second year in a row in which Keller Rohrback’s employee benefit team received the Benefit category award.  The achievements for which the employee benefit team received consideration in this award category were: their work on the Smith v. OSF HealthCare System settlement and their work relating to the Ninth Circuit Panel Decision and Order Denying Petition for Rehearing En Banc in ERISA Industry Committee v. City of Seattle

Keller Rohrback’s nationally recognized complex litigation team also received this honor for their work in the products liability category. The achievements for which Keller Rohrback received consideration in this award category were:  their contribution to litigation successes in In Re National Prescription Opiate Litigation, MDL No. 2804, their work on the proposed settlement in Stringer et al. v. Nissan of North America et al., their appointment as Co-Lead counsel in the In Re Chevrolet Bolt EV Battery Litigation, MDL No. 2987, their appointment as Settlement Counsel in In Re Hyundai and Kia Engine Litigation II, and their work in In Re JUUL Labs, Inc. In addition to the achievements that were considered for this award, Keller Rohrback has had multiple other significant recent achievements in the category of products liability including a $345 Million settlement with Pfizer in In Re EpiPen (Epinephrine Injection, USP) Marketing, Sales Practices Antitrust Litigation, MDL No. 2785 and a significant 9th Circuit Court victory relating to class certification in In Re Arizona Theranos, Inc. Litigation.
