The cybercriminals accessed documents that included academic transcripts, medical records, employment contracts, and financial information, then made that information available to download on a website called CLOP that is run by cybercriminals. This breach put the personal information—including Social Security numbers and medical information—of more than one million people at risk of identity theft and fraud.
